After visiting Baluarte in Vigan City, we headed off to OveMar Resort Hotel where we have booked an overnight stay. It is located in Santa Catalina, Ilocos Sur and is only 10 minutes away from Vigan City. But because we're not familiar with the place, it took us around 20 minutes to get there because we were lost.
After somewhat being lost, we finally arrived at the hotel around 4:30PM. The hotel is surrounded with rice fields and it's like that we were just at home in Anda. It's really a countryside setting away from the heritage district and also near the beach, a 5-minute walking distance away. The hotel staffs are friendly and accommodating. There's also small swimming pool at the back of the hotel which is free to use for the guests.

Since we're 9 of us + 1 kid, we got 2 standard rooms (for the couples) and a Dormitory room (for the singles). The Dormitory Room costs P4500/night and is good for 6 persons. The room is pretty decent and clean. I love the beds!

After resting for a while, we decided to go to the beach to watch the sunset. But we were already late because the sun has already set and it was already dusk. Below are the only nice photos that I was able to shot.
After our short photo session, we returned to the hotel and decided to eat our dinner there. Since we were in Ilocos, we tried their Pakbet with Bagnet, sinigang na Bagnet and Puqui-puqui. The food was not bad but we waited around almost an hour before our dinner was served.

According to the staff, the owners of the hotel are Norwegian, so the hotel and the house were Norwegian-inspired.

Over-all, our stay in the hotel was good. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and also have friendly staffs. Budget-friendly for group travelers.
