Ilocos Roadtrip Part 3: Bangui Windmills & Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, Ilocos Norte

On Day 2 of our Ilocos roadtrip, after having breakfast at OveMar Resort Hotel, we set out again for another 3+ hour drive off to our next destination, the Bangui Windmills in Bangui, Ilocos Norte.

We had 1-hour stop over at Valdez Center in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte for an early lunch and also had to change our car's tire because it was flat. Then we arrived at Bangui around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Although the sky was a bit cloudy, but still you can really feel the heat there. Too hot!

Bangui Windmills or wind farm "uses 20 units of 70-metre (230 ft) high Vestas V82 1.65 MW wind turbines, arranged on a single row stretching along a nine-kilometer shoreline off Bangui Bay, facing the South China Sea.[1] "  They are really huge!

After our photo session with the windmills, we too got our souvenir shots...

...and jump shots of course! hehe!

Even our 2-year old nephew did his jump shots too! So cute!

On our way back home, we had a very quick visit at Kapurpurawan Rock formation located in Burgos, Ilocos Norte.

We left Bangui around 3PM and arrived Dagupan City around past 12MN! Although the long drive going back home was too tiring, yet we're really happy for having our first family roadtrip and thanked the Lord that He kept our family safe and sound during the entire trip. ^_^
